Sustainability

The corporate sustainability policy identifies the principles that inspire ICAT for the responsible management of its impacts, both towards the communities in which it operates and towards its own people. Aware of the central role of our products in daily life, we intend to contribute improving the quality of life and the territories in which we live, developing innovative and sustainable adhesives, based on renewable raw materials, in compliance with the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact, initiative to share sustainability values (human rights, work, environment and fight against corruption). We are committed to a process of continuous improvement, inspired by a strategy focused on the protection of natural balances.

Renewable sources

The attention to the environment allowed the company over the years to implement numerous investments with the aim of reducing energy consumption through a photovoltaic system consisting of 3200 solar panels and 750 KW of power, powering the entire production plant. In addition, a trigeneration system has recently been installed for the recovery of otherwise dispersed thermal energy, through which thermal energy with a very low environmental impact is produced.
